The Rescue Me Project is proud to announce the newest member to serve on the board of directors.....
The Rescue Me Project welcomesKevin Knight to serve as a new board member.
I was born and raised in Santa Barbara County California. I graduated from Santa Ynez Valley Union High School in 1996. I immediately went to work full time at a local Feed store. I knew I would never go to College.
I had an opportunity a couple of years later to take a job with an Excavating & Grading Co. I learned many skills from that job. Including obtaining my commercial license to operate commercial semi-trucks.
My greatest opportunity would come in early 2000 when I had the chance to purchase my own Transfer dump truck! A wealthy business owner took a liking to me and gave me the chance. This came from a work ethic I had shown over the previous years. I owned and operated that business until I felt my next venture taking me to North Alabama! In 2004 I passed the Alabama State Real Estate exam.
In 2005 I opened Knight & Humphries Commercial Real Estate Inc with a partner. Our specialty was brokering the sales of income producing properties. We are still open today. Although I have stepped away from a full-time broker, I am a full-time investor/developer. It is my passion. I know the Lord has blessed me so that I can bless others.
My life is full of many blessings! Too many to count. In 2013 I was saved and made a commitment to Christ! To always serve him and give him his share. So many people took chances on me! I didn’t have the best of child hoods but that’s what gave me the drive to do something! I owe it all to Him.
